Fitted Tops for Work
Fitted tops for work
A fitted top for work has to lie flat under a blazer, keep its shape through a long day at a desk and look as neat at five o’clock as it did at eight. These are the JudyP styles built for the office: a V-neck, a boatneck, a sleeveless shell, and a relaxed V-neck for days when you want a little more ease. All are made in the USA in microfiber and spandex and come in sizes XS–XL.

How to wear it
Work top questions, answered
What kind of top is appropriate for the office?
A plain knit top with a clean neckline such as a V-neck, boatneck or jewel neck, in a solid color, with a sleeve or worn under a jacket. Avoid anything sheer, very low cut or heavily printed in a formal office.
How fitted should a work top be?
It should follow your shape without pulling at the bust or clinging at the waist. If you can see the outline of your bra or the fabric creases across the front, it is too tight.
Can I wear a sleeveless top to work?
In most offices, yes, if you wear a blazer or cardigan over it for meetings. A sleeveless shell with a high neckline is the most office-appropriate sleeveless shape.
