I’ve always loved November. Fall is in full force – yes, even here in California – and the holidays bring family and friends together to celebrate the completion of another year. As ever, we have so much to be thankful for here at JudyP.
The support from our incredible community was deeply felt, all year long. You all loved the seven new colors I added to the line, even sharing your beautiful Tangerine looks on social media! As a designer, color means the world to me. It can feel vulnerable to share a new shade, but as always, you trusted me and followed my lead into a bolder and brighter future.
Our brick-and-mortar stockists, too, continued their support of JudyP with joy and enthusiasm! Many of you shop for JudyP not only online, but in gorgeous boutiques, enjoying our flattering styles that are found on the racks with all the other high-end clothing. We have the creativity, taste, and expertise of our retail partners to thank for that.
Finally, where would I be without my team? From the fabric cutters and sewing contractors in our California workshops, to our amazing vendors – you are the reason JudyP garments have the highest quality, down to the last stitch. Last but not least, you have come to count on our reliable colors, sizing, shipments, and beyond, and for that I thank my wonderful team here in Torrance that delivers on those promises, daily.
Since the beginning, JudyP has been the chance of a lifetime. All designers dream to see their visions come to life, and I am extremely lucky to have had that opportunity. From this place of deeply felt gratitude, I have an announcement to make. After nearly 14 years of leading the helm at JudyP, I am passing on the torch. My business partner celebrated his 83rd birthday this month, and it was time for him to let go of the company and for me to move on to semi-retirement.
In the coming months you’ll get to know Deborah S. and Tracey H. who will be continuing the great legacy of the Judy P brand in the market. Deborah has been a big fan of JudyP for years (her JudyP wardrobe has traveled with her to over 20 countries – Italy, Singapore, India, Poland, China, and France to name a few!) and is fully committed to continuing maintaining high quality fit and color standards, and great styles the Judy P brand has been known for. You’ll also get to know Tracey, her sister and business partner. Tracey has decades of impressive experience with retailers such as JCPenney, Macy’s and Foot Locker and is very excited to get to know all of our clients. I am confident that the two of them will find great success with the JudyP brand, and I’m excited to see how their vision unfolds.
And so, the journey continues in capable hands. I’ll be sticking around as an advisor, a design consultant, and in a few other capacities – for example, the 2024 Spring colors were selected by me, so be on the lookout for those! Though next year may bring changes, the colors, fabrics, and styles you’ve always loved aren’t going anywhere. And anyway, who doesn’t love a little innovation? I know I always have.
I’d like to thank you all for over a decade of support with a parting gift. If you’ve ever purchased JudyP, you’ll receive an email in the coming days with a special Founder’s Discount code. If you don’t see an email within the week, please email [email protected] and we’ll set you up.
Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving, joyous holidays, and a New Year filled with fun, creativity, and of course, terrific style.
All my best,
– Judy P.

Thank you for your creativity, skill and savvy! I have many, many Judy P tops, all well fitting with beautiful colors. My first was at a trendy fashion store in Delray Beach, Florida, many years ago. Since then, I have ordered online and will continue to do so. Good luck to you!
